Now that the British Summer has arrived; one day of 24C weather followed by seven days of torrential rain and thunderstorms, my mind wanders to al fresco dining, lazy mornings outside and drinks with friends in my Barcelona esque courtyard garden.

Whilst we are currently renovating our house, the garden is far from resembling a 'Barcelona esque courtyard' however this is my end goal, my vision for our little plot of oasis. We have no grass and instead of wallowing in our small charming yard I intend to create an outdoor space that is welcoming and perfectly set up for long nights sipping prosecco under the stairs with my pizza oven working overtime. Sounds like a dream, no?

Cox and Cox has long been my go to homeware store for unique Scandi meets country inspired pieces so it only made sense that I had a little browse of their outdoor living section...of course I wasn't disappointed!

With a huge selection of seating, lighting and planting options I was spoilt for choice. I love how a proper dining table effortlessly creates an outdoor/indoor feel and this dining set with bench is perfect for evening eating in the garden. A big mirror gives the illusion of space in any room so why not extend that logic to the garden and an array of planters brings greenery to a garden void of grass! Oh and how could twinkly lights not be on the wish list?

Once our house is finished we will move on to tackling our outdoor space and I will definitely be adding some all of the above to my shopping basket!

Here are some stunning gardens for inspiration...

There are three things that I have always loved about Radley, their Christmas windows (seriously, they are always on point), the impeccable quality and the synonymous little Scotty dog. When I was browsing through their latest bag offering I was seriously impressed.

After much deliberation I chose the Cheshire Street backpack, I love the mixture of fabrics, the multiple pockets, there is a space for everything you would ever carry in your handbag and its shape, is it weird I was drawn to the square shape?! It is practical, it is oh so chic and yup...the Scotty dog makes a very welcome appearance.

I was so impressed with this bag that I went straight back onto the Radley site and was very pleased to find they had a sale on! I am very tempted to pick up this gorgeous sunshine yellow leather backpack and this cross the body bowler bag- I just need to decide on the colour!

Where do you like to shop for your bags? I'm on a serious mission to update my collection!

I first saw these beauties on the ever so stylish Hannah at A Fashion Fix and after lusting after them for, well, forever they went into the sale and I snapped them up before the ill fated 'sold out' could appear. If you love them as much as me you'll pleased to know that they actually are still available in all sizes AND they come in black, an unbelievable dupe for the Chloe knotted sandals, the only question is...which colour will you choose?

After purchasing these and adding them to my summer shoe collection I realised this area of my wardrobe needed a little bit of attention and so I created the below summer sandal wish list.

I have my fingers crossed that the black leather sandals from Mango will come back into stock, hence why they are still on my wish list and who can believe the tan mules are only £19! Yup they're a steal.

What's your summer shoe of choice?
