FARFETCH BEAUTY

what's in my make up bag
I recently became aware that the ultimate boutique website, Farfetch, had launched a beauty section in partnership with none other than Space NK...seriously, what's not to love about this? Whilst perusing this new addition my beauty lust got the better of me and I thought it was about time I took a full audit of my day to day make up bag and create a wish list of my must have items that just have to be added...come the next couple of pay days!

If you are wondering why my make up bag has a D on it (when my name is Lizzie) it's because my boyfriend (Daniel) bought it me, does anyone else's boyfriend do this when buying initial items? It is from Oliver Bonas and I love it, as I do everything from there, it is spacious, waterproof and looks oh so pretty.

My day make up look is a subtle, fresh, no make up look. I like my face to look flawless but in a dewy barely there way, hence why I love Laura Mercier foundation. It is lightweight and breathable but still with great coverage and silky smooth finish. I wear this with their radiance primer underneath and I just love the effect, I always use Benefit Erase paste under the eyes and Collection concelear cannot be beaten on price or quality. A touch of powder, bronzer to warm up the skin followed by a pink blusher, my current favourite is the classic Benefit Dandelion it gives that gently flushed effect, and my skin is done. I always, always use Clinique bottom lash mascara it never smudges and effotlessly defines even the smallest of bottom lashes. For my top lashes I am currently loving Charlotte Tilbury and MaxFactor Lash Sensational, it does exactly as it says on the tin. If I am going for a nude lip, more often than not, I am loving the Charlotte Tilbury Nude Kate lipstick. It is the most beautiful nude, not too pink, not too brown, it glides on and is incredibly moisturising.
wishlist

I have heard (sch)mazing things about each and every one of these products and after scouring the new Farfetch beauty section for, what seemed like forever, I kept coming back to them. I would love to add these to my make up bag and think they would all be the ideal beauty products to take on my upcoming trip to Los Angeles! Have you tried any of these before?

What's on you current beauty wish list?

  8. I love SpaceNK but the one closest to me is like 25 miles away :(

Also I love the idea of having boyfriends initial instead of your own, it's cute.

  11. I see you have the Chantecaille Tinted moisturiser on your wish list. I have heard many good things about this one too. My friend actually uses it and loves it but says she found it hard to get a good colour match - either too light and/ or pinkish or too dark/ yellowish. There doesn't seem to be a lot of colours especially if you are more neutral toned but if you can find the colour match it seems like a winner :)
