Skin Saviour

If you are prone to breakouts and blemishes, like me, then you have to get this cream, I don't think I have ever felt so confident recommending a product before (so you know it is good)! I have been using Effaclar Duo on and off for a year now, most recently for two full months and I am completely amazed. As it is a French product I can't read the ingredients so unfortunately I can't tell you what is in it but if I am be completely honest I don’t really care as the results are incredible!

It is available in either a light creamy formula or a clear gel like formula. I chose the gel formula as I have combination/oily skin and I thought this would work best for me. I wear it morning and night as a moisturiser, it is very light on the skin and a little goes a long way. The tube itself may look quite small but they last an impressively long time, in a year I have only had to repurchase once. After just a few days my skin looked visibly clearer and after a week I felt confident nipping to the shops with no makeup on again. This is definitely a product that I will continue to have in my bathroom whether it is for regular or emergency use; it really is my skin saviour.

Have you ever tried La Roche Posay? What is your skin saviour?

  1. I have to try this!! My skin is oily and blemish prone as well, so it sounds like the perfect product. I hope I have results as good as yours!

  11. I love this product but only like to buy it when it's on offer in Boots because I go through it so fast (combination skin means I have to put lots on to prevent dry patches :(...)
I use Simple Moisturising Face Wash - basic I know, but it helps keep skin clean without stripping it of oil. I use topical spot treatments to clear my blemishes
