Gone Fishing

Woah, that was a ridiculously busy week, two weeks? that completely flew by and left me far far away from my beloved blog, sometimes I just don't know where time goes! Anyway, if you have followed me for awhile you may have noticed that when it comes to my nails I am a nude or dark dark kinda girl. My all time favourite colours are Threadbare by Topshop and after school boy blazer by Essie, opposite ends of the colour spectrum but the same feel (simple, classic and pared back).

If you saw my home post, a few posts back, you will have also noticed that I own a wire basket full to the brim of every colour nail polish you can think off, I have a bit of a problem. So when I went to pick out my trusty Threadbare I decided to go outside my comfort zone and try an actual colour. Gone Fishing was the lucky polish and now I am obsessed! The colour is just the right shade of green, it has a bit more punch than a pastel green and has a hint of mintiness that I love. It also lasts twice as long as Threadbare (if anyone knows of a white/off white nail polish that lasts longer than a couple of days please let me know) which is another selling point for me.

I am a massive fan of Topshop nail polishes in general and Gone Fishing has definitely been added to my favourites for summer. In fact when I went searching for the link to Gone Fishing I saw at least four more colours that I want to buy! What is your favourite nail polish colour and brand? I am always on the look out for new ones to try...

Skin Saviour

If you are prone to breakouts and blemishes, like me, then you have to get this cream, I don't think I have ever felt so confident recommending a product before (so you know it is good)! I have been using Effaclar Duo on and off for a year now, most recently for two full months and I am completely amazed. As it is a French product I can't read the ingredients so unfortunately I can't tell you what is in it but if I am be completely honest I don’t really care as the results are incredible!

It is available in either a light creamy formula or a clear gel like formula. I chose the gel formula as I have combination/oily skin and I thought this would work best for me. I wear it morning and night as a moisturiser, it is very light on the skin and a little goes a long way. The tube itself may look quite small but they last an impressively long time, in a year I have only had to repurchase once. After just a few days my skin looked visibly clearer and after a week I felt confident nipping to the shops with no makeup on again. This is definitely a product that I will continue to have in my bathroom whether it is for regular or emergency use; it really is my skin saviour.

Have you ever tried La Roche Posay? What is your skin saviour?

Normal Is Boring

If you follow me on Instagram I am sure you will have noticed that this summer I have been living in my reformed Calvin Klein dungarees, I love them. These Farfetch dungarees are now on my wish list, I need them in my wardrobe. Along with a few other pieces to finish the outfit off of course.

Dungarees seem to be a love it or hate it item, are you fan?
