30 Day Shred

I want to start by saying that I have never been a fan of fitness DVDS. If I'm being completely honest I always thought they were someone’s way of saying they 'worked out’ when in actual fact they pranced about to little effect. Sorry, sorry I know this is incredibly rude of me and for that I apologise but I don't think the multitude of celebrity yo-yo dieter’s videos helped my pre conception, do you?

Then I came across Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD, I read an amazing review and with one click (Amazon) my very first fitness DVD was on its way to me. I am only going to say one thing about the 30 Day Shred it is AMAZING and WORKS WONDERS. All the exercise I have done over the years has had no effect until this. Throw in a gorgeous sports bra, there's nothing wrong with a little incentive, and working out can be, almost, fun.

If you do what a little more information about this DVD read on for a quick break down. The 30 Day Shred is a 20 minute workout, yes 20 minutes. I have used it as both a 30 day solid work out in preparation for a holiday and as an every other day, keep my fitness levels up, work out.  Either way it works. There are three stages that get progressively harder each including three sets of 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, 1 minute abs, and that's it. I'm not going to lie it is hard, very hard but it is so worth it.
