Obey.

(Obey Jumper-boyfriends, Topshop Leigh Jeans, Nike Air Force Ones, Ray-Ban Aviators)

I went for cool comfort on a deceptively cold Saturday! I left the house in just a t-shirt as the sun tricked me into thinking we were having another hot weekend, sadly no it was freezing! I quickly shoved the boys jumper on and I was set to go in my comfiest shoes ever, the original Nike Air Force Ones, I think everyone should invest in some for when you fancy a casual day as I do rather often! Hopefully the rain will stay away for the BBQ I'm going to today! Was is sunny AND warm where you were this weekend?

Zebra Slipper

(ASOS Cold Shoulder Top, Topshop High Waisted Jeans, Topshop Zebra Slipper, Accessories Necklace, H&M Clutch Bag, Urban Outfitters Watch, ASOS Corset Bra)

I just got these orange zebra slipper shoes and I am in love! This whole outfit was created just to show you them, and I love how the all black outfit makes the really stand out. They come in grey and white as well so if the orange is too bright for you there are other options and they are so comfy. This ASOS top was also an incredibly buy as I have got so much wear of it, over playsuits, with jeans, skirts, shorts it goes with everything and gives a different twist to an outfit than a normal long sleeved top.  Do you love my shoes as much as me?

The American Dream

As it's getting close to summer and we will all be getting excited about our holidays I decided it was time to share some of my latest holiday snaps with you! I was lucky enough to go to Las Vega, San Francisco and LA for my 21st birthday and it really was THE most amazing holiday, America always has been my favourite place to visit. It is unbelievable how big America actually is, just four hours drive from Vegas to Frisco saw a 40 degree drop in temperature ensuring we got every climate and out of our holiday. The hardest thing about this post? Deciding which out of my 300 hundred photos were going to make the cut, I wish I could show you them all but you'd be scrolling down for hours!

Vegas was our first stop and it is every much as vast and tempting as you can imagine, we got to visit New York and Venice within half an hour of each other, everything is so alike. We had a cheeky gamble, believe me it is very hard to win in Vegas! Dan did however manage to win a nice sum by putting his last $5 on my birthday, the 8th! Next up was San Francisco, the complete opposite to our previous destination. I loved it here there is so much to see and so much character all around the city, with the most stunning buildings you will ever see! The sour dough (crab picture) is a must if you ever visit what the locals call Frisco, baked in front of you in all sorts of shapes it is delicious!

The final stop of the trip was Hollywood itself and what a place it is. Beautiful weather, delicious restaurant after delicious restaurant and star spotting to your hearts content! We saw Ne-Yo, an episode of Criminal Minds filming, Larry King, David Beckham and I bought a jumper where Ali Larter was also shopping, and there we thought the paparazzi were for us! Santa Monica was my favourite place the beach was so peaceful and relaxing whilst the shopping and quaint bars were the perfect day for a nice cold drink. Being from the UK and massive football fans we thought it was only fair we went to see David Beckham play at his new club, LA Galaxy, we won! I really could go on forever, one day I hope to live here so watch this space! Where are you off to this summer?

Style Envy #2

I create these posts to show you guys who I admire and who influences my style choices and also (hopefully) to try and give you some wardrobe inspiration! I defy anyone to not like, at the very least, one of Olivia Palermo's looks, there are that many I love it was hard to limit it for this post! She is a style chameleon, putting together prints and colours many of us wouldn't even think of. The recurring factor between my 'style envy' posts is how their style changes depending on the occasion and the mood, you couldn't put Olivia or Jessica Alba in one style category and that is what I love about them. My style is very much the same, I can go from preppy to edgy all in a days work, where's the fun in sticking to one look? I especially love the leather dress in the first picture and the tangerine coat is simply stunning. Which is favourite look? Who are your style icons?

Worldwide Wardrobe

Travel Supermarket have launched an amazing competition, combining a love of travel with a love of fashion. They are challenging fashion bloggers to put together five outfits to wear in five different destinations enjoying various activities, with a budget of £200 per outfit.
The activities and destinations to create looks for are:
  • sightseeing in Paris
  • clubbing in Ibiza
  • shopping in London
  • cocktails in New York
  • partying at a Full Moon party in Thailand
With five judges on-board, each will select a destination winner based on the blogger who has created the look best suited to the occasion. Each category winner will win a dream trip to the destination their outfit was inspired by, plus £200 to buy the outfit. You can enter all five categories, or just one or two, it's entirely up to you! For more information on how to enter this competition follow this link http://www.travelsupermarket.com/c/holidays/worldwide-wardrobe/

As travelling is my favourite thing in the world how could I not enter this competition? I dream of travelling year round, combine that with my love of all things fashion and you have the PERFECT competition. It's like it was designed for me!

I have chosen to create outfits for three of the five destinations which can be seen below.

Cocktails in New York

Zara Sweatshirt : £52
Nasty Gal Skirt: £38
ASOS Henley Heels: £40
BCBGeneration Bag: £38
ASOS Rings: £6
Aldo Watch: £20
Total: £194

New York is and always will be one of my favourite places to experience fashion, I have been once before and would love the opportunity to revisit this amazing city. My outfit was inspired by the fierce nature of fashion in New York. It is a city where you can have a completely free approach to your style, anything and everything goes if you want it to. The monochrome trend is one of my favourites of the moment so I decided to create a look around that. I love how the edgy skirt and extremely feminine heels are contrasted by the more masculine sweater. The neon pop of the clutch bag and simple silver accessories pull the look together creating a stand out, on trend outfit, perfect for a night out in New York.

Clubbing in Ibiza

Boy London Crop Top: £35
Topshop Dungarees: £38
Converse: £36
Kenneth Jay Snake Ring: £48
Gold Love Signature Bracelet: £4.50
Dogeared Faith Ring: £30
Total: £191.50

I have never been to Ibiza but have seen enough photos and articles about its incredible party scene and stunning beaches to know it is somewhere I would feel right at home! For this activity I wanted to create an outfit that would stand out in uniqueness and style amongst the hundreds of party goers in Ibiza. Dungarees are hot property in fashion at the moment and I for one am loving them, with the intention to get ALOT of wear out of mine this summer. Hence introducing them to my Ibiza outfit, cool and comfy paired with these turquoise converse they would allow me to party till the early hours only having to think about my dancing.  This boy London crop top is the perfect addition to my dungarees bringing an urban edge to the look. The simple jewellery additions add enough glamour to the outfit without getting in the way.

Full Moon Party in Thailand

Abercrombie Lace Top: £31
Zara Sarong Trousers: £39
Chinese Laundry Game Show Sandals: £41
Wallis Pearl Bracelet: £12
Jules Smith Cross Cuff: £38
Rock 'N Rose Floral Headband: £38
Total: £199

And finally my outfit inspired by a Full Moon party in Thailand, again I have never been but some friends have and so I have heard many stories and seen many photos, frankly I am openly jealous of anyone that has visited this beautiful country. I am completely in love with these sarong trousers that provide a different look to the usual cut off denim shorts seen at Full Moon parties (don't get me wrong I am an avid fan of these too) I simply wanted to create something a little different. The bright colour is perfect for a Full Moon party especially when paired with these equally bright turquoise sandals and lace cropped top. The jewellery ties the outfit together whilst this amazing Rock 'N Rose floral headband finishes the look off in the exotic style that Thailand emulates.

Hopefully one of these outfits will win me the trip of a lifetime! In the meantime which is your favourite outfit that I created?

Coachella #2

This weekend saw the celebrities return to the LA desert for the second Coachella weekend and once again they didn't disappoint in the wardrobe department. Boho and monochrome trends could be seen everywhere, I particularly love the monochrome checker board shorts seen here. Vanessa Hudgens led the hippy way for the second weekend running, as a self-confessed lover of the festival season she has festival chic down to a tee! The Stone Roses, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blur and Wu Tang Clan are just a small number of the bands keeping things cool at Coachella over its two weekends. I can only begin to imagine how amazing they were in such an amazing setting! As I said in my previous post I will make it here one day, fingers crossed for next year, hopefully I will be appearing in my own Coachella post! Have you been following the Coachella festival? Which festivals are you hitting this summer?

Style Envy #1

Jessica Alba is incredible in every way, with the launch of The Honest Company she has proved that she is definitely more than just a pretty face! When it comes to Alba I have massive style envy! She looks effortlessly chic at all times, from dressed down running errands to stylish evening wear. The simple looks are just as stunning as the loud prints she pulls out. These are some of my favourite Jessica Alba looks, the matching pastel sunglasses and t-shirt is a winner for me. What do you think of her style? Which is your favourite look?

Never Neverland

I was recently scrolling through my Pinterest when I came across these idyllic photo sets for Genlux Magazine. From The Glamourai created these 'fantastical fairytale' images. I loved them as soon as I saw them, so much so I wanted to do an entire blog post on them! They are magical and the colours just scream Spring/Summer. Just goes to show how some of the best work isn't always found in the most obvious place. Do you find them as magical as I do?

Coachella #1

I was constantly keeping an eye on Coachella over the weekend jealous of anyone that got to go, so I have donated a whole post to my favourite looks from Coachella weekend one! Actors, designers, singers, DJ's and models were all seen donning the hippie chic look. Kate Bosworth managed to nail this look on both the Saturday and Sunday look effortless as always, whilst the Victoria Secrets models showed off their enviable figures in style, looking to be having the time of their lives. Henry Holland and Jamie Winston looked their incredibly cool selves whilst chilling by the pool and DJ Mia Moretti manage to pull off triple denim! If you can't get festival inspiration from Coachella I don't know where you will. I will make it here one day in the mean time what have been your favourite looks?
